In 1914, the Wilde family founded a dental company by the same name in the Rhinegau area. In the 1960s more than 500 employees produced synthetic products for dental prostheses.
Based on this know-how, the founding idea for Wilde Cosmetics evolved. Light-curing resins were used for nail extensions and reinforcements. This also was the beginning of the Light Concept Nails brand which over the years has been abbreviated to LCN.
Another milestone in the company’s history was the acquisition of the facial care brand MONTEIL in 2006. Two well-established brands were merged and MONTEIL COSMETICS INTERNATIONAL GmbH was founded under the umbrella of the WildeGroup.
To this day, the WildeGroup is an owner-managed company. Two hundred employees work in the research, development, marketing and administration departments.
